By using our website, you agree to the terms and conditions of use (will here onwards be referred to as Expedia-flight-deals User Agreement, or simply “Agreement”), during the time of that you use this website. We reserve all rights to update this Agreement anytime without any prior notice. Make sure you read our Agreement carefully before using the website every time. If you not agree to any terms or conditions mentioned on this website, then refrain from using our website.
The Expedia-flight-deals website is operated by Travelmax LLC, (a Florida Limited Liability Company), Florida Seller of Travel license number ST39634.
The website publishes only third party information obtained from the concerned airlines companies. We cannot be held responsible for any omissions or errors and do not guarantee the accuracy of the information furnished. The website will not be liable for currency rate fluctuations calculated by banking processors in cases of International travel. All prices quoted on this website will be in United States Dollars. Offers or deals may dependent on various factors such as class of service, destination, time of year, the airline, how far in advance the booking is done and the tenure of the journey.
Prices are guaranteed only after the purchase has been made and the tickets have been issued. If there is an increase in the price post reservation, the customers will be notified before proceeding any further. All reservations made through our website unless otherwise stated. The Air ticket fare may or not be inclusive of baggage fees.
Some airlines offer only a Business class ticket and not a First class. Please read the airlines’ detailed terms before making a booking. The website will in no way be responsible if a customer reserves a different class of air ticket in comparison to what they intended to reserve.
Customers will receive a preliminary confirmation of the reservation before the issuance of the tickets. The booking stands incomplete until a ticket number is received through e-mail. An e-ticket confirmation process takes between 24-48 hours in case of domestic flights and 72 hours for international flights. There is no guarantee for a reservation until ticketed. In certain cases, the airfare may be increased by the airline post confirmation of reservation. We do not assume any financial responsibility in such cases. Our website will notify the customer of the change in the fare, and it is up to the customer to either proceed or cancel the reservation. You have the right of cancellation at no extra charge if there is a fare increase before ticket issuance and your card has not been charged. Rules, policies and schedule changes of individual airline companies are beyond our control. The website takes all efforts to intimate its customers of such changes. It is best to get in touch with the airline and reconfirm the ticket 72 hours prior to the journey.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
Reservations that have been ticketed are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated. In case the customer wishes to make a cancellation on the same day as the reservation, they will have to contact our customer support at +1-855-570-2840 which would facilitate a refund and a cancellation fee will be levied. However, most airline tickets are non-refundable after 24 hours of booking. Getting a refund for cancellations made any time later cannot be guaranteed by the website. If there are any changes to the actual reservation, the customer will be required to pay the necessary charges that are applicable according to the specified airline’s terms and policies. Customers who are unable to make the trip due to any reason will have to forfeit the entire fare and no refund will be entertained for such customers. Delayed arrival or denied boarding by the airport authorities may lead to forfeiture of the entire fare and there will not be any refund. Changes in the itinerary are subject to the rules and policies of the airline and we do not stand guarantee to any changes made to the original itinerary such as date or name change. It is mandatory to make reservations with the correct spelling of all passengers as a name change will never be entertained. In cases of a name change, the original air ticket will have to be cancelled and a new reservation with the correct spelling has to be made, which is subject to availability. If the airline allows a cancellation, then the passenger will have a credit with the same airline in his/her own name. Mostly, such credits have an expiration period, within which the alternate travel should be made with the same airline and by the same passenger. Customers are encouraged to discuss such trivial issues with the website’s customer support team for getting further guidance. For bookings where a cancellation with refund is permitted, has to be made prior to the scheduled departure by calling Expedia-flight-deals office. When making a booking for the credit amount, customers may be subject to pay the fare difference (if any), which may be a penalty or post-ticketing fee. The website has no authority in such changes and these are solely dependent upon the specific airline’s own procedures and policies. The ticket issued will be valid only on the specified date and time with the specified air carrier. Improper use may nullify the ticket leading to an automatic cancellation of the ticket.
CANCEL FOR REFUND
In case of refundable air tickets, there shall be a processing fee charged by Expedia-flight-deals customer service. The service fee charged by the website during the process of booking an air ticket is non-refundable. The cancellation process has to be done by phone only. A refund request can be processed if and only if the following conditions are satisfied; 1. Traveler has applied for a cancellation with refund and there is a provision for the same by the airline. 2. Traveler should have applied for the cancellation prior to the departure date and time. 3. Waivers are obtained by the website from the airline to process the cancellation and facilitate a refund. The turn- around time for the refund process completely depends on the airline and we do not guarantee any refund within a stipulated period of time. The customer will be intimated by a notification from the airline as well as our website. This notification is only an acknowledgement of the cancellation request and not a confirmation of the refund.All requests will be processed in a sequential order and seeking a priority will not be entertained. On receiving the request for cancellation, the website and the airline work to arrive on a waived amount based on the airlines’ rules and then the customer will be notified on the decision. Funds will be directly refunded to the customer’s account after approval by the airlines. The entire process might take between 60 to 90 days. A processing fee for the refund will be charged by Expedia-flight-deals in addition to refund penalties charged by the airlines. All of this processing will happen only after an approval for refund is received from the airline. When the airline does not process the refund request, then the website will refund the processing fee.
CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION
You agree to authorize Expedia-flight-deals and its representatives to charge your debit or credit card for the total amount that is displayed on the website. A reservation is complete only after issuance of the air ticket. In view of protecting our customer’s safety, the website verifies the billing address, name and card details with the respective banks before going ahead with the transaction. When customers are making a reservation or purchasing tickets for someone else, they agree to inform the concerned person about the terms and conditions of this website that are applicable. Such a customer will be financially responsible for both the use of the website and their account details. In all circumstances, the customers should warrant that all information furnished to the website is true, complete, current and accurate.
BAGGAGE POLICY AND FEES
The airfare published on this website does not include any applicable airline baggage charges. Customers carrying extra baggage in addition to the allowed higher limit will have to pay an excess baggage fee to the corresponding airline. It is better to travel light to avoid these extra costs. Each airline has a specific baggage limit according to the capacity of the flight, it is better to find out from the airline regarding the upper limit. Airlines generally charge an extra baggage fee in the range of $15 to $200 or more depending in the weight and size of the checked in baggage. The website does not have any say in this matter and the fee will have to be paid directly to the airline.
CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION
To ensure the safety and security of our customers, we will validate the name, address, card details and contact number of the customer with third party databases. By accepting the terms and conditions of this website, the customers authorize Expedia-flight-deals to carry out such verification checks as stated herein. By accepting these terms, customers acknowledge and concur that these personal details provided to the website will be shared with a registered Credit Reference Agency which will store the information in part or whole. When unable to verify the details provided with third party agencies, the website will contact the credit or debit card issuing bank for verification. This process is done to check the authenticity of the individual and not for a credit check and the customer’s credit rating will not be affected by this process. Some instances may result in the website asking a photocopy of the actual credit or debit card for the sake of verification and this detail will remain secure and not be used for any other purpose.
PASSPORTS/VISAS/GOVT. ISSUED PHOTO ID/HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
It is mandatory for all passengers to meet the passport, visa, health, affidavit and other requirements of the country to which they travel or in some cases transit. USA/Canadian citizens will be asked to carry a current valid passport for entry or transit through most countries; failing which they may be denied entry into the country. It is a reminder to all passengers that the practices and living standards, services and accommodation at your destination country may be vastly different from that of USA or Canada. Customers are advised to make the necessary precautions to deal with any adversity and carry their government issued photo ID which will be required at the security check points of the airport, hotels and car rentals. Apart from the ID proof mentioned above, the passenger must carry their passport for international travel. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to meet the visa and health requirements of the country of travel. For information relating to passport, visa and health requirements, the passengers are advised to contact the respective country’s consulate. Expedia-flight-deals cannot be held responsible if the passenger is detained, denied boarding or deported and refunds will not be entertained in such cases. Obtaining a passport or a visa can be a very lengthy process and the website cannot be liable for such issues.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR UNITED STATES
New laws have been introduced by the department of Homeland Security of the United States of America effective from January 23, 2007 which governs entry requirements for people traveling by air into the United States. The law requires that all American and Canadian citizens should mandatorily carry their passport during international travel. Make sure that the passport of the passenger is valid for at least 6 months post the return date of the journey in order to avoid delays in the US Immigration.

Otherwise, the website will resolve any claim, controversy or dispute arising from the use of the site, the site’s terms and conditions, or the breach, interpretation, termination, enforcement or validity thereof, or the relationship between the customer and the website, in accordance with the subsections below or as otherwise mutually agreed by both the parties in writing.
SUBMISSION TO JURISDICTION; GOVERNING LAW
The above mentioned terms and conditions and the rights of the parties hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, exclusive of conflict of choice of law rules. The customer agrees that any claims shall be brought into a court located in Hillsborough County, Florida, United states of America. All claims must be brought to court within two (2) years from the date on which such claim arose or accrued, unless otherwise prohibited by the applicable law.
FILING CLAIMS IN AN IMPROPER MANNER
The Claims brought made against the website must be resolved in accordance with the “Dispute Resolution” section. All Claims that do not conform to this section shall be considered improperly filed and void. If the customer’s Claim is not in accordance with this section, then the website may recover from the customer the attorney fees on behalf of the website and costs up to $10,000, provided that the website will notify the customer in writing that the Claim was improperly filed, and the customer should promptly withdraw the Claim.
